Community/Recreation Centers : Rumsey Community Center   1  Crosby Group provided complete structural engineering design services for the new Community Center to serve as the centerpiece of the community for the Rumsey Indian Rancheria. This new community center includes a multipurpose building, an art gallery to exhibit Rumsey Indian artifacts, community classrooms, and a community pool. Design challenges included accommodating large span curved glulam beams that cantilever over a glass entry wall, and coordinating our framing members with the architect to provide aesthetically pleasing exposed framing.
