Alhambra Commercial Building |
Constructed during the late 19th Century, the Alhambra Building originally served as Redwood City’s main Theater and Ballroom. Gutted by a fire in 2003, the building was recently restored and seismically strengthened in conformance with the State Historical Building Code. Structural work included the recreation or period long span trusses and roof framing as well as the addition of braced frames and composite glass fiber.
